Anita has long been in pursuit of health and fitness, both mind and body. She taught yoga for many years at local yoga studios and gyms in Frisco TX.
She has been a vegetarian for 10 years and went vegan for the animals about 4 years back.
Along the journey, like most of us, she became more and more aware of the effects on the environment and the health benefits of not just giving up meat and dairy but eating Whole Food Plant Based. She has always tried to pursue “clean eating” and the evidence supporting a WFPB diet compelled her to continue to pursue more.
She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition by eCornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She continues to explore ways to make a WFPB lifestyle easy and accessible and enjoys helping others achieve the same.
She is a registered Pod Leader for the Plant Pure Communities Organization in Frisco Texas, has a Facebook group called Green and Fit Frisco, and is thrilled to be a contributing member of the plant based community of Dallas and the Food As Medicine Summit and Expo.
